Job Summary
General Pattern Co. is seeking to fill Processing Technician roles with candidates who enjoy a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
2nd shift, Monday – Friday, 2:30pm – 11pm.
Hourly wage dependent on experience.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Set up machine operating parameters to process to specifications - Sample Molds.
- Set up machine operating parameters from cycle sheets and process to specifications - Production Molds.
- Validate that the first samples meet the part requirements, recheck samples periodically for proper quality.
- Correct processing problems.
- Inspect parts for accuracy, remove and stage molds from presses.
- Work with production groups to meet customer demands
- Locate and identify proper molds ordered for production. Check part numbers and verify samples or prints to ensure that a correct part is produced.
- Plan ahead for upcoming set ups by locating and preparing mold runs. Set-up and adjust corresponding equipment beforehand.
- Schedule Injection Presses.
- Install aluminum molds into injection molding presses.
- Secure molds to platen and assemble heater cartridges and leads.
- Correct problems at the press.
- Continually seek process improvement.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area while emphasizing quality and efficiency.
Duties and Qualifications
- Knowledge of materials used and resin processing.
- Work with others to smooth transitions between shifts.
- Able to Supervise, Direct, and Train employees in Injection Molding Department.
- Ability to be licensed to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts.
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers and scales.
- Ability to lift 55 lbs. and stand/ walk throughout the day.
- Excellent Communication Skills (both written and verbal).
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and agreeable to overtime.
- Experience in warehouse environment with moderate noise levels.
- Self-Directed Worker.

Job Summary
General Pattern Co. is seeking a Tool/Mold/Die Designer to create Injection Molding Tooling. Qualified individuals will have 3 years of Tool Making/Designing experience using CAD Software and CNC Machines.
Starting pay is dependent on experience.
Job Skills Required
- Use CAD Software (SolidWorks preferred) to design aluminum tooling for Injection Molding
- Able to develop tooling designs that support manufacturability of product and customer specifications
- Troubleshoot Tooling Issues
- Build/Repair molds and dies using CNC’s and other machining related equipment
- Organized, high sense of urgency, and strong attention to detail.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work effectively on projects with minimal direct supervision.
- Ability to independently organize and prioritize multiple duties
- Excellent Communication Skills (both written and verbal)
- Agreeable to overtime
- Able to lift 50+ lb.
- Able to stand, sit, walk, stoop and bend
- Able to use hands and fingers to reach and grasp
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Experience in warehouse environment with moderate noise levels

Job Summary
General Pattern Co. is hiring Manufacturing Engineers. This is a 1st shift position in a very fast paced environment. The hours are 1st Shift Monday – Friday with flexible start and end times.
Starting annual salary ranges dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and build machinery/fixtures for manufacturing products in the automotive, aerospace, and medical industries.
- Develop and optimize work cells and instructions for production of parts/complex assemblies.
- Use of 3D printers, CNC machines, and hand tools to create original designs.
- Responsible for DFM reviews of customer supplied product designs.
- Knowledge of tooling design/machine setup for hot plate welding, ultrasonic welding, vibration welding, and pressure decay testing.
- Machinery diagnosis and repair
- Working with injection molding, assembly, and quality control departments to identify and solve production and prototype problems.
- Research and develop new and unique processes to solve a variety of problems.
- Technical sourcing of products and skills for projects.
Skills
- CAD (SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, Mastercam)
- 3D Printing (and relevant software)—FDM and SLA
- Mechanical and electrical design and assembly
- Basic hand tool experience
- Basic electrical knowledge (switches, relays, timers, etc.)
- Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated and independent
Education
- Degree in Engineering or related field not required but is a plus. Can substitute education for relevant experience and skills.
